CAURUS Technologies will be at the INTERSCHUTZ 2026 in Hannover from June 1 – 6, 2026. We will be showcasing two projects in our booth presence as well as during a panel discussion:
- As a case study of the Future Forest Initiative’s Greentech Incubator we will present project “AeroDrop”. It aims to establish a demonstrator center in the State of Lower Saxony for CAURUS Technologies’ innovative firefighting system.
- As part of the Forest Fire Firefighting Laboratory we will present project “Forest Shield”. Together with Fraunhofer ITWM we are developing a predictive system for the water drop. It combines sensor data, simulation, and real-time predictions in a single system to measure and forecast water drop efficiency.
- And as part of a panel discussion on the topic of “Helicopter firefighting operations: current portfolio and innovations for precision water drops and night flights” together with Airbus, June 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. live at the Command Post in Hall 17 (F06).
INTERSCHUTZ is the world's leading trade fair for the fire and rescue services, civil protection, safety and security. This year they are premiering the WildfireCamp@Interschutz to emphasize the increasing challenge that wildfires are posing to all stakeholders in civil protection.
Das Wildfire Camp rückt erstmals die brutale Realität von Waldbränden in den Vordergrund und zeigt die Herausforderungen auf, die dichter Rauch, Flammen im Unterholz oder knisterndes Reisig für Einsatzkräfte darstellen, die gegen die Zeit und die Naturgewalten kämpfen. Das Forum zielt auf Wissenstransfer auf höchstem Niveau für Menschen aus aller Welt ab – Menschen, die routinemäßig Leben retten, Katastrophen verhindern und anderen in Notsituationen helfen.
