Efficient Dispersion Extinguishing

Digital "eyes" make water "smart", various water containers transport extinguishing water to the fire in a more targeted manner. Dispersion extinguishing from the air increases water efficiency in the fire.

Technical Data

The dispersion extinguishing system is currently under advanced development and testing. To illustrate its effectiveness, we have simulated the efficiency factor using the computer simulation tool FireDynamicSimulator13 and considering external references. We expect an increase in water efficiency by factor 10 compared to conventional extinguishing technologies based on: a) lower distance of the water dispersion to the fire source (at the same time maintaining a safety distance to the aircraft). b) significantly higher heat transfer rate of the water-aerosol cloud (physical cooling effect).

Function

The system creates a water-aerosol cloud with pressurized small droplets. Those develop a maximum cooling effect rapidly bringing down fire temperature. The water-aerosol cloud is created directly within the fire, deploying the water cooling effect right where it is needed most.
